Particularity : due to its design this cutter allows to cut band or braid either near the edge of the fabric or in between a piece of fabric (see diagram).

This device has been engineered particularly for corsetry and tubular band cut used as guide for plastic rods on bras (see diagram n°1).

FEATURES

This device allows to cut band at the beginning and the end of sewing and can be activated by the operator or by photo cell. The actual maximum cutting width is 25 mm. For larger cutting width: consult us.

Due to its engineering, this device allows for working on both sides of the presser foot. As soon as cut is achieved the plate of the sewing machine is totally free.

Adaptable to 1 or 2 needle lockstitch or elastic attaching machine Pfaff, Durkopp, Rimoldi, Juki, Brother etc.

ADVANTAGES

Due to its engineering this device enables material to pass on each side of the presser foot as sewing is carried out, and to cut at the beginning and the end of sewing.

Effortless operation for cutting thick bands such as braid.

This device allows material saving particularly when working with bras as it is not necessary to use all the band between cups (see diagram n°2).

This device offers two positions for cutting :

1st position : after cutting operation, cutter retracts towards the top of about 3 cm in order to enable material to come in for the next operation.

2nd position : after cutting operation cutter remains in low position against presser foot enabling to cut bands when working on the left of the machine, as a result this cutter is currently THE ONE THAT CUTS THE CLOSEST TO THE PRESSER FOOT (4 mm) resulting in additional material saving.

SAFETY : this device is equipped with a special small housing for protecting operator.
